THE ROLE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE INENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence is increasingly being used to address environmental challenges, including climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution management. By analyzing large datasets, predicting ecological trends, and optimizing resource use, AI provides innovative solutions for sustainable development. This paper examines the role of AI in environmental conservation, highlighting applications in wildlife monitoring, deforestation tracking, pollution control, and climate modeling. A qualitative review of scientific literature, case studies, and technological reports was conducted to assess AI’s impact and challenges. The research indicates that AI improves efficiency, enhances decision-making, and supports proactive management of environment, but ethical considerations, data accessibility, and technological limitations require careful planning.
