Abstract

The article presents a scholarly examination of the theoretical and
practical dimensions involved in developing an innovative educational environment in higher education grounded in the principles of continuity and coherence. Within the contemporary educational context, the concept of lifelong learning facilitates the integration and systematic connection of all stages of the educational process, thereby playing a significant role in enhancing the quality of education. The primary objective of the study is to determine the theoretical foundations for establishing an innovative
educational environment in higher education institutions through the application of the principles of continuity and coherence, as well as to propose mechanisms for their effective practical implementation. The study utilized several methodological approaches, including system analysis, comparative analysis, content analysis of academic sources, and pedagogical modeling. The findings indicate that the organization of an educational environment based on the principles of continuity and coherence contributes to improving the effectiveness of the learning process, encourages the development of students’ independent learning abilities, and supports the formation of innovative pedagogical competencies.
