Project-Based Learning (PBL) is an instructional approach that engages
students in exploring real-world problems and creating practical solutions. This paper examines the role of PBL in higher education, emphasizing its potential to enhance student engagement, critical thinking, and practical skills. It discusses how PBL promotes collaboration, creativity, and interdisciplinary learning by encouraging students to take ownership of their learning process. The study presents examples of successful PBL implementation across various academic disciplines, highlighting
improvements in problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and professional readiness. Findings reveal that PBL not only improves academic performance but also prepares students for the complexities of modern workplaces. The paper concludes that integrating PBL into higher education curricula requires careful planning, supportive faculty, and assessment methods that reflect both process and product outcomes
