This article is dedicated to the comparative study of anthropozoomorphisms in two genetically and structurally different languages: Uzbek and English. Anthropozoomorphisms, as a specific category of metaphorical units, reflect the transfer of animalistic features to human beings, thereby forming a significant part of the linguistic picture of the world. The research explores the semantic structure, evaluative components, and cultural foundations of these units. Through a detailed analysis of idiomatic expressions, proverbs, and colloquial metaphors, the study reveals how ecological environment, historical lifestyle, and national temperament influence the formation of zoomorphic imagery. The comparative results demonstrate both universal
cognitive patterns and unique cultural “filters” inherent in each language.
