Abstract

One of the most pressing problems of correctional pedagogy is the transition from the correction of defects in children to their medical-psychologicalpedagogical rehabilitation and adaptation of children and adolescents with developmental disabilities to social life, taking into account the level of their mental and physical capabilities. Children with disabilities are one of the most problematic groups from the point of view of social adaptation. Their adaptation capabilities are reduced as a result of deficiencies in mental and physical health, limited social experience, and sometimes as a result of poor family and economic situations
