TECHNOLOGIES FOR WORKING ON WORD MEANINGS IN PRIMARYSCHOOL MOTHER TONGUE LESSONS

Abstract

The development of vocabulary and understanding of word meanings is one of the most important aspects of primary education. In mother tongue lessons, working on word meanings helps students improve their linguistic competence, communication skills, and critical thinking. This study explores effective technologies and pedagogical methods
used to teach word meanings in primary school mother tongue classes. The research analyzes interactive teaching methods, digital learning tools, and contextual learning strategies that enhance students’ comprehension of lexical meanings. The study was conducted using qualitative and quantitative research methods including observation, classroom experiments, and analysis of educational outcomes. The results indicate that the use of innovative pedagogical technologies significantly improves students’ vocabulary acquisition and semantic understanding. The findings of this research may contribute to the development of modern teaching practices in primary education.
