Abstract

This article analyzes ethnographic elements found in the Alpomish
epic, a major work of Uzbek oral folk literature, from linguistic and linguocultural perspectives. The study explores the semantic, structural, and pragmatic features of ethnographic units and highlights their role in expressing national mentality. Based on quotations and scholarly sources, ethnographic elements in the epic are interpreted as significant units reflecting the historical and cultural experience of the Uzbek people
