MODERN AUTOMATED SYSTEMS ENSURING RAILWAY TRAFFIC SAFETY

Abstract

This article analyzes the operating principle, interconnection, and  advantages of three new modern systems that play a crucial role in ensuring safety in railway  transport: Automatic Train Control (ATC), European Train Control System (ETCS), and  Global System for Mobile Communications – Railway (GSM-R). The integration of these  systems significantly enhances the safety and efficiency of railway transport.
