METHODOLOGY FOR INTEGRATING SCHOOL STUDENTS' LIFE EXPERIENCES IN BIOLOGY LESSONS

Abstract

This thesis highlights the pedagogical significance, methodological 
foundations, and impact on educational effectiveness of integrating schoolchildren's life  experiences into biology lessons. During the study, mechanisms for teaching biology  were analyzed based on vitagenic education, contextual learning, and a competency based approach. By linking biological processes encountered in students' daily lives to  the content of the lesson, their level of knowledge comprehension, independent thinking, 
and the development of practical competencies were determined.
