Abstract

The article outlines the theory that the genre of the story is a product of creativity that provides spiritual nutrition for a person, and the genre of
the story is considered a work of artistic level, laconic content and realistic reality in the prose of world and Uzbek children's literature. In the story, the question of the period and the hero, the description of social life, the interpretation of the characters are the main link of the work, and the teaching of the story to primary school students is carried out according to the scheme of literary analysis.
