Abstract

Green energy is a rapidly developing field responding to the challenges of
climate change and the limited reserves of fossil fuels. Solar panels and wind turbines have become renewable energy sources accounting for more than 70% of installed capacity worldwide. This article analyses the physical operating principles of photovoltaic systems and wind energy, their key technical parameters, global development trends, and prospects
in Uzbekistan based on scientific literature and statistical data. According to IEA data for 2023, global solar energy capacity reached 1,609 GW and wind energy reached 1,017 GW.
