Teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL) has undergone
significant transformation in recent years. Traditional teaching methods, which often
rely on memorization and teacher-centered instruction, are no longer sufficient to meet
the needs of modern learners. This study explores innovative pedagogical strategies such
as blended learning, task-based language teaching, and technology integration, focusing
on their impact on student engagement, communicative competence, and learner
autonomy. Based on classroom observations and practical teaching experience, the
findings reveal that students perform better when they are actively involved in
meaningful learning activities. The study also highlights that a supportive and interactive
environment plays a key role in building learners’ confidence and motivation (Dörnyei,
2001).
