Abstract

Cultural heritage plays a crucial role in preserving national identity and
strengthening intercultural dialogue among Turkic nations. Uzbekistan, situated at the
crossroads of the ancient Silk Road, possesses a rich cultural legacy deeply connected
with the traditions and values of the Turkic world. This article explores how Uzbek
traditions continue to function as living elements of everyday life rather than merely
historical practices. Through the analysis of hospitality, family structure, traditional
crafts, national celebrations, and intangible cultural heritage, the study demonstrates that
Uzbek culture reflects shared Turkic values such as collectivism, respect for elders,
social solidarity, and spiritual continuity. The article also discusses the role of
international organizations such as UNESCO and TURKSOY in safeguarding and
promoting Uzbek cultural heritage in the modern globalized world
