Abstract

This article systematically analyzes the role and structural components of
thinking in the development of intellectual giftedness in high school students. It
psychologically substantiates the qualitative restructuring of the cognitive sphere during
early adolescence, the formation of formal-operational and hypothetico-deductive
thinking in students, as well as the impact of creative imagination operations
(agglutination, hyperbolization) and metacognitive reflection on the level of giftedness.
In conclusion, the article puts forward practical recommendations for working with
gifted students
