This thesis examines the issues of preparing and developing a technological
scheme for the effective beneficiation of copper-porphyry ores from Uzbekistan's
strategically important Yoshlik deposit. The study aimed to determine the chemical and
mineralogical composition of the ore and investigate the possibilities of separating
copper and iron sulfide minerals into a collective concentrate using the flotation method.
Chemical analyses revealed the ore contained 0.56% copper, 0.5 g/t gold, 2.8 g/t silver,
2.96% sulfur, and 4.5% iron, with chalcopyrite identified as the primary copper mineral.
Flotation experiments utilized BKK collector, liquid glass, and pine oil reagents. Results
showed that the use of the BKK collector ensured a copper recovery of 85-94% in the
sulfide concentrate, with the obtained copper concentrate grade ranging from 4.75% to
11.55%. The developed technological scheme is crucial for increasing the processing
efficiency of Yoshlik deposit ores and strengthening the country's copper production
potential.
