The aim of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness of various approaches to optimizing hypolipidemic therapy in patients with coronary heart disease and type 2 diabetes mellitus with very high cardiovascular risk. The study included 74 patients who were divided into two groups depending on the therapy administered: Group I (n=30) received a combination of rosuvastatin and ezetimibe, while Group II (n=44) received intensive combined therapy including inclisiran. It was established that the use of inclisiran ensured a more pronounced decrease in LDL-C (by 74.4% versus 35.7%; p<0.001) and a higher frequency of achieving the target level of LDL-C <1.4 mmol/L (85.7% versus 28.6%) compared to double hypolipidemic therapy. The results obtained confirm the effectiveness of intensifying hypolipidemic treatment using inclisiran to optimize lipid metabolism control and reduce residual cardiovascular risk in patients with combined coronary artery disease and type 2 diabetes.
