Abstract

This article examines the portrayal of female characters in Shuhrat’s novel Oltin Zanglamas. Through the depictions of women with diverse personalities—Adolat Khola, Jannat, Aziza, and Musharraf—the author reveals the role of women in the social life of his time and explores their inner experiences. Each character possesses distinctive virtues or flaws, which the writer employs to convey profound life meanings to the reader. The representation of genuine, sincere Uzbek women serves as one of the key devices in expressing the novel’s central idea. The article analyzes the influence of these female characters on the plot and their thematic significance within the work.
