Today, improving technical and tactical preparation is one of the important tasks in preparing freestyle wrestlers to achieve high-level sports results. In modern competitions, anticipating the opponent’s actions, making quick decisions, and performing several technical actions continuously as a combination are important factors that provide an athlete with an advantage.
In freestyle wrestling, it is not sufficient to perform individual technical techniques perfectly. Depending on the situation, an athlete must be able to quickly and effectively transition to a second or third technical action when the first attacking action is unsuccessful. From this perspective, systematic improvement of combined technical actions is an important direction for enhancing the technical and tactical preparation of wrestlers at the training stage.
