Abstract

This paper develops and substantiates a methodology for improving
the technical training of boxers aged 11–12 years through the systematic use of
moving (mobile) games. At the initial training stage, traditional repetitive drills often
reduce motivation and limit the transfer of basic technical skills under variable
conditions. Moving games that replicate key biomechanical and coordinative
elements of boxing enhance motor learning, reaction speed, coordination and
technical mastery while maintaining high engagement and age-appropriate
physiological load. The methodology allocates specific volumes of games across
general physical preparation (≈22%), special physical preparation (≈8%) and
technical preparation (≈17%). Game intensity is controlled (peak heart rate ≈180
bpm during short 12–14 s bouts, 2–3 repetitions). Four sample training sessions are
provided. Related studies indicate significant improvements in defensive technique
quality, speed-strength qualities, agility and overall technical-tactical readiness
compared with traditional methods.
