ASSESSING TACTICAL DECISION-MAKING SKILLS IN YOUNGBOXERS THROUGH VIDEO ANALYSIS

Abstract

This thesis explores the possibilities of assessing tactical decisionmaking skills in young boxers through video analysis. It examines the importance of
situational awareness during boxing bouts, responding appropriately to opponents’actions, transitioning from defense to counterattack, and managing distance.Furthermore, methodological recommendations are developed for combining pedagogical observation with video analysis, planning individualized training sessions based on identified weaknesses, and monitoring athletes’ development dynamics.
