Abstract

This thesis aims to analyze the pivotal role of the Jadidism movement in the processes of national awakening and enlightenment in Uzbekistan. The study employs a historical-comparative analysis method, examining the Jadids' reforms in education, press, and culture. Research findings indicate that the Jadids widely disseminated national consciousness and modern ideas within society through new-method schools, national press, and theater. This movement laid the foundation for Uzbekistan's socio-political and cultural development, and its legacy remains highly relevant today.
