This article provides a theoretical analysis of the socio-psychological characteristics regarding the impact of occupational stress on marital relations. It examines how psychological strain, emotional exhaustion, and work-related problems arising from professional activities spill over into family relations, as well as their effects on mutual communication, emotional intimacy, and marital conflicts between spouses. Furthermore, it explores the importance of emotion regulation, social support, and coping strategies in the interplay between occupational stress and family relations. Particular attention is given to the socio-psychological factors that help maintain psychological stability in marital relationships, foster constructive communication, and mitigate the negative impact of occupational stress on family life.
