This thesis aims to analyze the specific characteristics of emotional expression in the translation process from Uzbek to English and vice versa. The study employs comparative-linguistic and discourse analysis methods based on examples drawn from literary and journalistic texts. Results indicate that fully conveying emotional load requires not only lexical-semantic but also cultural-pragmatic equivalence, with devices such as interjections, diminutive forms, and metaphors playing a crucial role. The work provides practical recommendations for translators to achieve emotional equivalence and outlines directions for future research.
