This thesis investigates the extraction of magnesium chloride from local dolomite minerals via hydrochloric acid leaching and examines its fundamental physicochemical principles. The effects of thermal activation, hydrochloric acid concentration, reaction temperature, and duration on the magnesium extraction yield were studied through empirical laboratory procedures. The results demonstrate that utilizing 20% hydrochloric acid at 90–95 °C achieves a magnesium extraction efficiency exceeding 90.8%, with selective separation of calcium allowing the crystallization of pure bischofite. These findings provide critical scientific and practical insights for developing domestic import-substituting production of defoliants and metallurgical reagents from Central Asian mineral resources.
