Chemistry demands high cognitive engagement due to its abstract concepts and complex theoretical foundations. Traditional passive teaching methods often lead to rote memorization rather than a deep conceptual understanding of chemical processes. This paper presents a comparative analysis of the effectiveness of interactive methods—namely, Problem-Based Learning (PBL), the Flipped Classroom, and PhET virtual simulations-in chemistry education, based on international scientific research and meta-analyses.
