Abstract

The article provides a comparative analysis of the experience of foreign countries (United Kingdom, USA, Australia, Japan, Singapore, Finland, Russia, Kazakhstan) in developing financial literacy in secondary schools. The main models of organizing financial education – a separate subject, an integrated approach and extracurricular programs – are identified, and their advantages and limitations are assessed. The current state of financial literacy education in Uzbekistan is analyzed, and the elements of foreign experience applicable to the national education system, as well as the conditions necessary for this, are substantiated.
