COMMON GRAMMAR MISTAKES MADE BY ENGLISH LEARNERS

Abstract

This article is devoted to identifying persistent grammatical errors in
English speakers and their causes, analyzing and solutions. In the course of our research, we became convinced that grammatical errors were detected in the process of writing essays and oral speech. The errors are due to differences in the grammatical system of the Uzbek and English languages. In particular, in a constant majority, repeated errors were noted as the most common problems: incorrect use of tenses, incorrect use of articles, word order and prepositions. On the basis of scientific analysis and results, methodological recommendations were developed in order to minimize the above errors, and the main goal of this article is to eliminate these errors and shortcomings.
