CURRENT PROBLEMS OF QUALIFYING LONG-TERM CRIMES
Abstract
Ignoring or insufficient understanding of the signs of a long-term crime
sometimes leads to mistakes in judicial practice when qualifying such acts. The feature that distinguishes them from ordinary crimes is the mechanism of causing socially dangerous consequences. This mechanism is implemented not by a single action or inaction, but by extending the time of completion of the act or by committing a series of similar actions aimed at the same goal and a single result. There are certain legal consequences associated with the existence of a long-term crime.
