Abstract

The rapid development of globalization and digital technologies has significantly transformed the process of teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL), particularly in higher education institutions. Modern language education requires innovative teaching approaches that promote communicative competence, learner autonomy, and critical thinking skills. This article explores contemporary methods of teaching English, including communicative language teaching, task-based learning, technologyenhanced instruction, and collaborative learning strategies. The research analyzes the effectiveness of these approaches in improving students’ language proficiency, motivation, and academic performance.
