This article examines the transformative influence of Artificial Intelligence
(AI) on the acquisition of the English language. As digital integration becomes ubiquitous in global education, AI-driven tools—ranging from Natural Language Processing (NLP) algorithms to adaptive learning platforms—are redefining traditional pedagogical frameworks. The study explores how AI facilitates personalized learning pathways, enhances phonological precision through speech recognition, and mitigates the psychological barriers to communication. Furthermore, the paper addresses the dualistic nature of AI, weighing its benefits in accessibility and efficiency against the challenges of linguistic nuance and the diminished role of human interaction. The findings suggest that while AI serves as a powerful catalyst for language proficiency, a hybrid approach combining technological precision with human-centric instruction remains the most effective trajectory for modern learners.
