THE ROLE OF MULTIMEDIA TOOLS IN ENHANCING ENGLISHLANGUAGE LEARNING

Abstract

In recent years, the integration of multimedia tools into English language teaching has significantly transformed traditional learning environments. Multimedia resources such as videos, audio materials, interactive applications, and digital platforms have enhanced learners’ engagement and motivation while supporting the development of language skills. This study examines the role of multimedia tools inEnglish as a Foreign Language (EFL) learning, focusing on their impact on student motivation, comprehension, and skill development. Through a review of recent literature and analysis of current educational practices, the study highlights both the advantages and challenges associated with multimedia-based instruction. The findings suggest that when multimedia tools are effectively integrated into language
instruction, they contribute positively to learners’ academic performance and overalllearning experience.
