Genetic editing, particularly the CRISPR-Cas9 technology, has revolutionized modern medicine by providing precise, efficient, and costing effective tools for modifying DNA sequences. CRISPR enables researchers to target and correct genetic mutations, offering potential treatments for hereditary diseases, cancers, and viral infections. This article examines the applications, benefits, and ethical considerations of CRISPR in medicine. A qualitative review of peer-reviewed studies, clinical trials, and policy reports was conducted. Findings indicate that while CRISPR holds immense promise for personalized medicine and disease prevention, challenges such as off-target effects, long-term safety, and ethical dilemmas require careful regulation. The research concludes that responsible development and application of CRISPR technology could transform medical practice and patient care
